Schmolke Carbon announces Andreas Klöden as new brand ambassador

Born out of a shared passion for lightweight carbon bicycle parts Andreas Klöden and Schmolke Carbon join forces in developing high end carbon roadbikes of the future.  

As one of the most successful professional cyclists that Germany has ever produced, Andreas Klöden already had the opportunity to ride and appreciate the Schmolke carbon racing handlebars together with Jan Ulrich during his time in Team Telekom. Due to his enthusiasm for what is technically feasible, there was always an exchange of ideas on bike rides with Stefan Schmolke.

The experience of Andreas Klöden paired with the technical know-how of the inventor of the carbon racing handlebar, Stefan Schmolke, is already showing the first results: With the new AERROW model, Schmolke Carbon will be presenting a complete racing machine at Eurobike.

On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Andreas Klöden will be at the Eurobike trade fair in Frankfurt at the Schmolke Carbon stand in Hall 11.1 Stand A20c. There you will have the opportunity to get to know the Olympic bronze medalist in Sydney and winner of numerous cycling races personally.

Andreas Klöden is one of the most successful professional cyclists that Germany has ever produced. In the course of his career, “Hilde” was able to celebrate great successes for teams such as Telekom/T-Mobile, Astana and RadioShack.

The greatest sporting successes of his career included two second places in the Tour de France 2004&2006 and overall victories in the Tour of the Basque Country (Euskal Herriko Itzulia), Paris-Nice, Tirreno Adriatico and Tour de Romandie. Andreas Klöden always put himself at the service of the team and performed important services for greats in cycling, such as his long-time friend Jan Ullrich or the seven-time Tour winner Lance Armstrong.
